2 month check up

The boys had their doc. appt. this morning. Both are doing great. Here's the stats

LEVI:
9 lbs. 4oz (4th %ile) 22 in (4th %ile) 45th %ile HEAD! haha
Although he's in the low percentile he has gained 4.5 LBS!! That's A LOT in just 10 weeks. Perfectly healthy

EZRA:
10 lbs. 2oz (10th %ile) 22.3 in (10th %ile) 55th %ile HEAD! :-)
I always thought Levi's head was bigger (maybe it's the shape), but Ez's measured a whole INCH bigger than Levi's. haha Lately I've been thinking how big Ezra seems and it turns out he's only now, at 10.5 weeks old, the same exact weight as my nephew when he was born and still 1/2 in. shorter. Craziness. Definitely giving some serious credit to my sis-n-law for birthing him!! Amazing

We REALLY like the doctor that we saw at Patrick Air Force Base. I actually saw him a few years ago with Elliot and thought very highly of him. He's very reasonable with us about our not vaccinating our children. Of course, he does encourage it, but by no means is he rude or pushy like some doctors. He seems to really respect us. After we got home Wes was talking to someone about our insurance switching to the Army Reserve stuff (since his last day of Active Duty is Thursday!) and it turns out we'll have to start going off-base!! I'm super bummed that we'll have to go through the process of finding a Pediatrician AND finding one that is respectful of the way we are choosing to care for our children and do what we believe is best. oh well. Guess that's just how it will have to be.

So...if any of you reading this are here in Melbourne and have a good Pediatrician and/or family care doctor, please let me know so I can check and see if they take our insurance. Thanks!
