I had another appt. today and everything went much better! I've gained EIGHT, yes 8 lbs. in just 2 weeks!! I was so excited. I couldn't believe it when the nurse kept pushing the scale thing to the right. I was going to be happy with 4 lbs, but 8 is excellent. :-) Just reassures me that the babies are growing healthy in there. It also makes sense as to why my skin has just been hurting lately. It feels like it's being constantly stretched and it quite uncomfortable. Also explains the first stretch mark on my belly! It's so disgusting and right ABOVE my belly button. Ick! The doc I saw today was much kinder than the one I saw last week. No mention of any exams--YAY!
The doc. did a quick ultrasound to see the heartbeats and they are good. Here's the crazy thing, the babies have switched positions. B is now headdown and A is transverse. So now, "B" is technically called "A" since it's in the position to be the first out. It's so crazy. I think I've bonded with the "A" and "B" names, now it's all switched up on me! Guess I'll just have to refer to them as right and left or something. Maybe the things I tried to turn "B" (moxibustion and webster chiropractic technique) worked. Now, I gotta get "A" to turn back and "B" to stay. So confusing with 2 in there. :-)
After the doc, I headed to the hospital for another NST. It went well. Both babies reacted as they should. I did have some contractions show up on the monitor, but I wasn't feeling any of them. I'm so thankful Elliot gets to go to Preschool and doesn't have to go to all of these appt's with me. She'd be soo bored!
