So, now we're moving on with a diagnosis of THRUSH. This is getting so old. I've been pumping the right side for 3 days now b/c it's so incredibly painful to nurse! Gotta go pick up some new med. for this thrush nonsense this afternoon. I can not wait to just nurse these boys again without all the pain!! They have no signs at the moment, but from everything I've read they need to be treated too. Guess I'll be calling the pediatrician and see what they recommend for them. I can't have this going back and forth from me to them for weeks. It's got to end!
*Update: now the pediatrician's office says they will not treat unless there are visable signs that they have thrush! I am praying it doesn't show up in them the day I'm feeling all better. I can totally see why people could give up on nursing when stuff like this happens. For goodness sake, I went through a pain medication free, pitocin induced labor, and dealt with the crowning (yah...you know's that a burn like no burn you've ever felt!) 2 children within half an hour.... and the pain when I nurse is sometimes comparable! ROUGH I tell ya!
