Okay, I totally admit it: the last few days I let Elliot watch way too much T.V. It's kinda hard to feed babies, keep them happy, & entertain her. So, on goes the T.V. We saw the show Caillou the other day and it was actually semi-cute, so I recorded some shows for her. Yesterday and today I noticed her talking in this rediculously whiney voice! She'd stay stuff like, "But I don't want to" in this abnoxious manner. I kept telling her she had to stop speaking to me that way. She had a little break down before nap today and decided to tell me she had a sore throat. I laughed and couldn't figure out how she came up with that one. After nap, she wanted to watch the rest of her Caillou show. I go and sit by her on the couch, and there is little 'ole Caillou talking (or should I saw whineing) about having a sore throat!!
It is just amazing how quickly kids can pick up on things. Elliot really has only seen the show about 3 times. Farewell Caillou! There will be no more of you in our house. Hopefully the mopey voice will go away as quickly as I can delete the shows off our DVR!

I cant stand Caillou...we had the same thing happen last year the first time Garrett watched him, why do they have to make him whine, dont they know we hear enough of that already??? haha
Tell me about it! We have a strict "no Caillou" rule in our house ever since the first show we watched because of his whining! We also don't watch Wonder Pets because of the duck that "baby talks". Both shows drive me crazy!
